The University of Chile, together with the Chilean Association of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering, ACHISINA, is organizing the X Chilean Conference of Seismology and Earthquake Engineering, to be held between May 22 and 27, 2010. This edition of the Conference is dedicated to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of the 1960 South of Chile earthquake, a milestone for earthquake engineering.
This conference has evolved since its first meeting in 1963, to become the most important earthquake engineering conference in Latin America. Over 180 abstract have been received for the 2010 meeting, from the following countries: Argentina, Colombia, Chile, Ecuador, New Zealand, Eslovenia, France, Lebanon, Japan, Mexico, Peru, Portugal, Venezuela, Italy, Spain and Greece. An audience of over 500 people is expected, composed of authorities, professionals and researchers in the field of Engineering and Construction, and a large number of engineering students.
The Conference includes a Stand Exposition, where projects, technologies, products and services related to the area of construction will be presented.

Only space will be provided. Each company will have to bring their own setup.
Stands and technical presentations must be reserved on or before January 31, 2010 and paid on or before March 30, 2010. Presentation requests will be handled in a first come-first served basis.
